It's been a while since this topic was covered and I have some new info to share.

First, a friend took his LifeProof Nuud case kiting and it leaked the first session. I won't say that's a definitive 'don't even think about that case' but I'd definitely run some serious water tests before using that case for kiting.

Second, I just got the updated HitCase Pro+ model which has interchangeable lenses: wide angle and normal. Of all the cases I've used for kiting, my favorite has been the HitCase. I really like the wide angle lens - it makes the iPhone camera take some interesting images (see below). I also love the quick in and out nature of the HitCase - I don't use a waterproof case daily (don't dig the attenuation of the audio and the headphone and charging ports are blocked). When I'm going kiting, I just pop the iPhone into the Hitcase - it takes about 15 seconds to insert the phone and snap the 3 latches down. Being able to do a FaceTime chat with my friends and family is pretty cool while out on the water, but I really like taking a phone with me for emergencies.

Here's what the wide-angle lens looks like:

Just noticed HitCase has a good deal ($50 off) on their waterproof iPhone 5/5S cases through the end of the year:

I've used lots of different cases and these are my first choice.

Has anyone had any experiences with this one by FRIEQ? It looked similar to the one posted by mcfly777 early on in this thread by Eco-Fused.
