Whaaaa...

I got there around 8am with 3 others and it was good. 2 ppl on the water already. 3 of us pumped up 8m's and 9m's.

I know the wind reading looked really gusty, but it didn't feel as gusty as the Windalert made it look.



I'm normally on a 14m or 12m under 20kts, but I was on a 9m and about half depowered. Sometimes I feel that wind is stronger than windalert notes on some days at Alameda. Kinda odd.

The 3 of us kited for 45-60min and were packed up and headed to work at 10:15. Some rain came in but it cleared up. One person out on a Blue/Black Caution (I think) was still out there when we left, ripping it up.

I thought it was a pretty good session.

At this point, it looks like Sunday Funday!



As an aside, that crazy wind day at 3rd at the end of December (12/30/14). I was on my friends 8m fully depowered in this:



7m would have been perfect for me that day.

I was at alameda from 11 to 1pm and 8m was pleeeeeenty. Gust close to 40.
Lots of fun. Probably the steadiest storm ever.
