Also, on a south wind day, don't look at alameda beach sensor. Look at USS hornet. Much more accurate reading of the conditions.
Kites: 2020 F-One Bandit: 10m.
Board: 2018 F-One Slice 5'1 Surf/Foil convertible
Harness: Manera Union.

Thanks. Noted for the future that there is some kind of shadowing going on!

Yup, it sure felt gusts were stronger
Than the ikitesurf readings of 30 for gusts,
Pretty steady, the airliners approaching sfo going south seemed still in the sky..

That was my first winter storm session!
Boy was it fun, 8m rally ;-)

Was at A-town from 3 to 5 PM. Was perfectly powered on 7.5 wainman. Too bad my arms gave out after less than an hour due to heavy bar pressure on the damm kite.

Switched to my friend EH 5.5 meter but found myself under-powered at times. At other times, the 5.5 was too lively, zipping across the wind window like a trainer while generate no power for jumping / boosting. Still it has been a while and I was so happy to be back on the water *bg& *bg& *bg&

Sunday is going to be pretty much the same condition - 20 to 40 mph all day - hope to see you guys/gals there.

Is there 2 alameda in the bay area??? +*!@
4 people on 8m.
A girl on a 7.5m
And 1 crazy dude on a 9.5. I don't even know how he was able to hold it down!
The girl was on a 9 and I was on a 10m edge fully depowered for a bit then half depowered
But I weigh 215.

By the end of it I was fully powered and it was perfect size save the gusts. If you look at the wind data, there was a pick up at 5 that got me off the water.

The alameda sensor is good indication for inside and hornet for outside.

I didn't go to far out on be use it picked up a bit out there.

Was fun!
