April 2014 Scotts Creek big swell kitesurfing

I took some video of big swell kitesurfing at Scotts Creek in April 2014. Maybe some of the riders can recognize themselves. I am from Oregon and did not know them. I myself rode the day before in smaller surf but had a torn meniscus and decided not to take any chances. Although even in good health this may have been above my pay grade. Well, at least for sure strapped and maybe on a twintip just to say I would have survived.

The music was free stock music and may sound weird, I thought it sounded somewhat 'Californian'. Let me know. :)

wow, thank you! This is awesome. I showed up at Scott's one day in Feb but also chickened out and went to Waddell instead. The water gets pretty confused in there, especially when the creek is flowing. A dog got swept in and died only a few weeks ago at Scott's.

I embedded your video, and no worries on the music. I appreciate people abiding by copyright laws... makes my life as a moderator much easier Although youtube/vimeo/etc are so good at self-policing now, it's really the only way to upload your video.

Was out at OB past the whitewater for the first time few days ago, and it
Sure was intimidating in the begining, after a while it was so much fun!
Such an adrenaline rush, hopefully can make it to waddell and scotts this season,
Looks like i need to loose the straps tho!

That was a great swell. I shot a lot more footage from that day, same quality, but just had to keep the video short. A lot of those guys were strapless which is crazy. Respect.
